The Grimmsteeds are two NPCs in Hollow Knight. They appear together with the Grimm Troupe in Dirtmouth.
Lore
The Grimmsteeds are two faithful bugs[1] who are part of the Grimm Troupe. They are possibly the ones who pull the Troupe's caravan.[1] Due to their visual similarities, they appear to be of the same species as Willoh.
The Grimmsteeds sit silently in front of Grimm's tent, waiting for the performance to begin.[1]
In-game events
The Grimmsteeds arrive in Dirtmouth after the Nightmare Lantern in the Howling Cliffs has been lit. They do not speak, but their thoughts can be read with the Dream Nail. They disappear after Nightmare King Grimm has been defeated or the Troupe is banished.
Dream Nail Dialogue 
- A new land. Different from the last. How many more will we see?
- The roads between are dark and long, but the Master's light will always guide us.
Location
Only two Grimmsteeds exist, and both are located in Dirtmouth after the Grimm Troupe has been summoned. They are outside the main tent.
