Mosscreep

Mosscreeps are enemies in Hollow Knight. They camouflage themselves with leaves and hide from danger amongst the undergrowth.[1][2]
 I used to think these things were merely ambling plants. When I learned they were actually living creatures, I began to kill them on sight. This is the nature of the Hunt!  |
Behaviour and Tactics
Hides in greenery until the Knight approaches. Once approached they shuffle about in their bush before rising up and wandering back and forth.

Trivia
- The Mosscreep is one of the few enemies that respawns upon leaving and re-entering the room.
- There is a glitch where, if the Knight opens the Map while a Mosscreep is moving upside-down towards the edge of a platform, it continues moving, off the platform and through the air.
