Revek
From Hollow Knight Wiki
Revek is a spirit in Hollow Knight. He is the protector of the Spirits' Glade. He warns the Knight that they will face consequences if they harm any of the Glade's spirit inhabitants.

Hidden Dreams ContentBehaviour and Tactics
Once the Dream Nail has been used on at least one spirit, Revek spawns and charges at the Knight, dealing 2 Masks of damage. Exiting the Glade resets Revek and makes him stand on his tomb again like all other spirits until the Dream Nail is used on another spirit.
He cannot be damaged or defeated until all spirits have been consumed and the area is exited and re-entered, after which he can be found in a sullen pose back on his grave able to be Dream Nailed for 1 Essence.
While Revek cannot be damaged, he can be repelled temporarily by:
- Parrying.
- Using the Dream Nail on him.
- Hitting him with the trail of the Crystal Heart Super Dash.
- Dashing through him with the Sharp Shadow Charm equipped.
- Using any Spell.
Doing so despawns him only for a short while; he keeps appearing and attacking as long as the Knight remains in the area.

Trivia
- Revek is named after Revek, the Kickstarter backer who designed him.
- Revek was first revealed in a Kickstarter update detailing various Backer Bugs:
- Meet Revek the Guardian. In life he defended the glade and continues his vigil, even as a ghost.[1]
Revek uses the same voice lines as the Sturdy Fool when attacking.- Due to a coding mistake, if Karina is the only spirit left in the Glade, Revek becomes dejected and Karina's own sprite and dialogue are replaced with Revek's dejected sprite and dialogue, though her name does not change.
