Cogwork Choirbug

Its core is filled with fine mechanisms, but that alone should not produce such a convincing mimic of life. Silk must also be used to animate this artifice, though exactly how I am not sure.

Cogwork Choirbugs are enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They are common automatons of the Cogwork Core made from iron and fine mechanisms.
Behaviour and Tactics
Walks back and forth on a platform, pausing frequently. If it spots Hornet, it extends its sharp claws and begins to walk forwards whilst slashing in front of itself wildly, not stopping until it reaches an edge or Hornet gets behind it. This attack comboes Hornet for
+
if she gets hit by the slashes. If a Cogwork Choirbug attacks towards another enemy, it will be knocked back from it and be stunned for a brief moment.
Cogwork Choirbugs can much more easily be defeated by luring them to the edge of a platform and then pushing them off into cogs, which still counts as a kill for the Hunter's Journal.
