Conchfly

The way it darts in and out of the ground has an almost playful quality to it. An amusing and effective way to ambush prey.

Conchflies are enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They are small bugs that craft shells of sharpened coral to drill through their prey.[1]
Behaviour and Tactics
Conchflies are flying enemies always found in pairs.
They drill into the ground and walls and then launch back out of different surfaces at Hornet. If the tip of their pointy shell hits Hornet, they drill into her and Combo her for

Though they only have melee attacks, Conchflies still attempt to keep their distance between attacks.

Location
Conchflies can be found primarily in the Coral Tower, but two can also be encountered next to a bench in Sands of Karak, and they can be summoned by the Raging Conchfly.
