Deep Diver
Their heavier bells armour them well against my strikes, but against that oppressive heat... can they help at all?
Deep Divers are enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They are bulky, bell-clad workers found throughout the lower depths of the Deep Docks.
Behaviour and Tactics
Deep Divers often stand in place whilst idle, but yell once they notice Hornet. Depending on the available space, they use one of two moves:
- Charge: Tenses up briefly and then runs towards Hornet, stopping once she's behind them or they hit a wall.
- Jump: Jumps up high towards Hornet, occasionally jumping again if she isn't behind them after the first jump. They only use this move if there is enough space above themselves.
Deep Divers deal 
of contact damage for all attacks.
Due to their bell armour, Deep Divers are completely immune to needle bounces. They do not get stunned at all by helmet attacks, unlike smaller bell-helmeted workers like Smelt Shovellers.
Finally, Deep Divers are one of the few enemies who can jump up and down through platforms to reach Hornet.
Since they are mostly fought in narrow corridors, stay near edges of platforms and jump up or down between them when they charge. There is usually just enough space to dash over them when they charge, though timing is tight.
Act 3
Black-threaded Deep Divers have their health doubled. They gain one of the following attacks:
- Void Blades: The enemy explodes into a circle of blades.
- Void Tendrils: The enemy whips Void tendrils in Hornet's direction.
- Void Projectiles: The enemy launches 3 slightly arcing void projectiles in Hornet's direction.
- Void Drops: The enemy launches 3 arcing Void droplets to the left and right. Upon hitting the ground, each droplet then explodes into a smaller version of the Void Blades attack.

Deep Divers can be found in the southeast Deep Docks, in the area unlocked using a Simple Key.
