Greed will always see some bugs swell above their kin.
Drapelords are enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Behaviour and Tactics
Drapelords attempt to constantly keep distance from Hornet in between attacks, and fly to slightly different positions depending on the attack they are about to use:
- Swoop: Flies to be more horizontally/diagonally away from Hornet first, then rears back slightly before swooping in a straight line at her, bouncing off the ground if it hits it.
- Divebomb: Flies vertically farther above Hornet, then dives downwards towards her.
Drapelords deal contact damage of 
for all attacks.

Location
Drapelords can be found in the Memorium, in the large open area on the eastern side of the zone before the entrance to Putrified Ducts during and after The Lost Merchant wish has been accepted. Outside of The Lost Merchant Wish, this enemy only has a chance to spawn every time the room is entered; however, this does not require sitting on a bench in between. One also spawns in the open area above the Whispering Vaults in Act 3.
