The Hunter's Journal is a compendium of every enemy found in Hollow Knight: Silksong. New entries are added to the Journal after defeating new enemies. A few entries can only be obtained by inspecting a specific object or as a reward for completing a challenge.

Use

Defeating a specified number of each enemy unlocks additional notes from Hornet about that enemy, as well as some lore and techniques for fighting that enemy.

How to Acquire

Given by Nuu in the Halfway Home in Greymoor. When it is inspected, the Journal can be found as a pane in the Menu.

A total of 237 entries can be acquired for the Hunter's Journal.

See the entry list for the 7 entries not required for the True Hunter achievement. One entry is exclusive to Steel Soul Mode.

In order to see the number of creatures encountered and the total number required to complete the journal, the Farsight item must be constructed. This item will also add grey slots in the places that unencountered enemies necessary for the Hunter's Memento would occupy.
