Mask Shard (Silksong)
Mask Shards are Items in Hollow Knight: Silksong that are used to increase Hornet's Health.
Use
Mask Shards are fragments of ancient masks. 4 Mask Shards are needed to form an ancient mask, which increases Hornet's health by one Mask.
With a total of 20 Mask Shards in the game, the Mask count can be increased by 5, for a maximum of 10 permanent Masks.
Completing a Mask will also fully restore Hornet's health.
How to Acquire
A total of six Mask Shards are accessible in Act 1, allowing for Hornet to have one additional Mask by the Act's completion.
Ten more Mask Shards are accessible in Act 2, allowing for four additional Masks by the Act's completion.
Four more Mask Shards are accessible in Act 3, allowing for a total of five additional Masks.
