Pilgrim Hulk

A rare built bug within these ailing lands. Most pilgrims' shells seem small by comparison. What nourishment did they discover to grow so large?

Pilgrim Hulks are rarer, larger Pilgrim Enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Lost to the Haunting, they roll at threats without caring about their own discomfort.[2]
Behaviour and Tactics
Pilgrim Hulks slowly walk back and forth in a small area when idle. Once they have spotted Hornet, they use either of the following attacks:
- Bouncing Roll: Begins charging up and bounces towards Hornet twice, with the second bounce going lower than the first.
- Spindash: Bounces backwards briefly before gaining speed in their roll, then thunders towards Hornet until she's behind it or it hits a wall.
Pilgrim Hulks often have short cooldowns after their attacks, allowing them to be hit easily. Their large hitbox size also makes certain Tools such as Sting Shards or Curveclaws especially effective.
Act 3
Void-afflicted Pilgrim Hulks have their health quadrupled. They gain one of the following attacks:
- Void Blades: The enemy explodes into a semicircle of blades.
- Void Tendrils: The enemy whips Void tendrils in Hornet's direction.
- Void Projectiles: The enemy launches 3 slightly arcing void projectiles in Hornet's direction.
- Void Blobs: The enemy launches 4 arcing Void droplets to the left and right. Upon hitting the ground, each droplet then explodes into a smaller version of the Void Blades attack.

Location
Pilgrim Hulks can be found primarily in Far Fields. One can be found east of Seamstress's hut in Far Fields, and another, called the Weary Pilgrim, can be found in Pilgrim's Rest. When approaching the Weary Pilgrim for the first time, she is docile due to Sherma's singing. After leaving and coming back, she becomes hostile as Sherma has departed, and does not respawn upon death. One Pilgrim Hulk can be found in a Deep Docks arena. Two Pilgrim Hulks can also be found in the Chapel of the Wanderer's arena. During Act 3, Pilgrim Hulks can be found in Shellwood attacking Plinney.
