– Pious Isamor

Pious Isamor is a statue in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Background

It seems this statue was made for the purpose of indoctrinating the pilgrims that arrived at the Citadel for them to join the ranks of the Choir. Its dialogue suggests it was from a time before, from when the Citadel was not as opulent and decadent as it had become at the time of Hornet's arrival.

The original position of the statue appears to have been in the west of the Choral Chambers just outside the entrance to Whiteward, where an oxidised statue base can still be found.

In-game Events

Pious Isamor initially appears to be a rusted statue of a pilgrim.[1] Upon walking a few steps away, hitting it a few times or playing the Needolin, it wakes up and can be listened to. It makes a rumbling sound when talking.
