Foul creatures birthed into servitude. Their plight elicits no sympathy from me.
Scabflies are enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They are sticky young jailer flies, born and grown in service to the Slab.[1]
Behaviour and Tactics
When idle, it sits resting on a Penitent. Once disturbed the Scabfly flies around in diagonal lines, bouncing off of walls.
It does not target Hornet and does not react to taunts, only dealing 
on contact.

Trivia
- The Scabfly only spawns sitting on a Penitent. While one of the Penitents is already dead, the other one is alive and can be killed to make them stop respawning until sitting on a bench.
- This implies the Scabfly is there to guard the Penitent.
