Silk Hearts are Items in Hollow Knight: Silksong that grant Hornet automatic Silk regeneration.

Use

Each Silk Heart collected increases the cap of Silk that can be regenerated by 1 strand. There are 3 Silk Hearts that can be collected in total.

It takes 1.5 seconds for the first strand of Silk to regenerate, and 4.25 seconds for the other strands. Only 1 strand regenerates at a time. Weavelight reduces the regeneration time to 1 second for the first strand and a little more than 2.5 seconds for the others, and acts as an additional Silk Heart, allowing for a potential maximum of 4 strands. Sitting at a bench instantly regenerates all Silk produced by the Silk Hearts and Weavelight.

How to Acquire

There are a total of 3 Silk Hearts, each granted upon defeating a boss.

Each Silk Heart forms hovering in the air, and the boss arena stays locked until it is collected. On touching it, Hornet is transported into a memory resembling the architecture of the Cradle, where a platforming sequence must be completed to leave and obtain the Silk Heart. Dialogue within the memory is heavily implied to be from Grand Mother Silk.
