Skullwing

Such feeble creatures could only survive thanks to the rarity of predators in these super-heated caverns.

Skullwings are enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They are airborne relatives of the Skull Scuttlers, only found in the Marrow's deepest and hottest caves.[1]
Behaviour and Tactics
Have no attacks, instead hovering in one spot, dealing
on contact. When they are killed, another flies in after a short period of time.
They mainly function as targets for Needle bounces or the Clawline when platforming. It is best to avoid the use of Cogflies when using these enemies to platform, since Cogflies automatically attack and defeat Skullwings before Hornet can reach them.
