Avoiding their ambush is a good test of my senses, and my ability to rapidly retaliate.
Splinters are enemies in Hollow Knight: Silksong. They are members of the Splinter Tribe with sharp forearms and bulging eyes.
Behaviour and Tactics
Splinters hide as background objects until Hornet gets close, at which point they shake and then pop out to begin their attack. Splinters are much more cautious than Splinterhorns.
Splinters frequently move backwards and forwards between attacks, and slash horizontally at Hornet once she is in range, rapidly hitting for

Splinters deal upon contact.
