Boss vessel theory

I have a theory the spirit Boss may have been another vessel, in his dialougue; "I came from far away to reach this place. Though my shell may seem foreign, beneath it I am a bug the same as you." he states that beneath his shell he is the same as the knight. Could this indicate he is also a vessel beneath his shell?

In this line of dialouge he also mentions he came from far away, this could indicate he did not come from hallownest disproving my theory, but this could also indicate he came from the abyss (the birthplace of vessels) as this is pretty far away from the spirits galade.

In his second line of dialouge he recognizes the Knight as a warrior; "You too are a warrior? I see your nail, but your shell seems underdeveloped. In your current state, to travel a land as dangerous as this seems unwise." he talks about how the Knight its shell looks to be underdeveloped, wich is understandable if you look at his shell wich looks more like armor. As last he says that he thinks its unwise to travel trough a kingdom so dangerous proving Boss has traveled trough Hallownest, this could still mean two things: he traveled from another kindom trough hallownest to eventually find his rest in the spirit galade or he traveled trough Hallownest taking the Abyss as starting point because he was then bron there.

Please let me know what u think if u read this, i know its not big but i like to speculate around unknown bugs.

It's possible! Though I know that the Spirits Glade bugs are backer rewards, so they have little to no relation to the canon of the game, and are just easter eggs. Zigmatism (talk) 16:30, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
