Throwing Ring is a Red Tool in Hollow Knight: Silksong. It acts as a ricocheting throwable weapon.

Usefulness

Throwing Ring is best used in small enclosed spaces with many enemies or one large enemy. Its ability to bounce between enemies allows it to efficiently clean up smaller groups of foes, and its ability to bounce off surfaces can allows it to deal damage multiple times to larger enemies in smaller rooms.

How to Acquire

Given to Hornet by Shakra after finishing the Trail's End Wish.

Trivia

• When the Throwing Ring is equipped and has at least two uses left, Hornet's usual Challenge animation will be replaced with Hornet clanging the Throwing Rings together and saying "Poshanka!", similar in manner to Shakra's greeting.
  • This variant of Challenge costs no Silk (as opposed to taking 1 strand) and will not increase Needle damage; instead, it increases the damage of the next use of Throwing Ring by 50%.
  • When used next to Shakra, she will respond with "Poshanka!" as well.
  • Additionally, if used next to one of Shakra's calling rings, it will summon her as if it was struck.
