Shrumal Warrior
Shrumal Warriors are enemies in Hollow Knight. They are fierce fungal creatures who protect their young from intruders, using their flexible caps to roll around.[1][2]
 Something queer in the air has caused these mushrooms to grow hearts, minds, and even faces! This means they now fear for their lives, like all other living creatures.  |
Behaviour and Tactics
Shrumal Warriors have two attacks:
- Roll: Rolls into a ball towards the Knight, leaving a trail of toxic gas.
- Jump: Jumps into the air in a descending arc towards the Knight, leaving a trail of toxic gas.
It only attacks when it takes damage or the Knight gets in range. When it jumps into the air, the Knight can go underneath and attack it when it lands. When it rolls towards the Knight, they can Dash over it, or Nail-bounce off it for more damage.

- In the A Weird and Wonderful World Trailer, a Shrumal Warrior wielding a staff is seen. It does not attack the Knight but instead talks to them.
