Tuk
The water brings me everything I wish for... I just need to find it. It brought you here, too. |
Tuk is a Merchant in Hollow Knight. She sells Rancid Eggs for Geo.
Lore
Tuk is a scavenger who keeps to herself. She vehemently searches the Royal Waterways for someone, hoping they will offer their apologies to her.[2] She sustains herself with Rancid Eggs, and believes the water down there will always provide her what she is looking for.[3] Despite her introverted nature, she remembers those who help her, such as the Dung Defender.[4]
In-game events
Tuk can be found scavenging in a hidden room in the Royal Waterways, behind a breakable wall in the upper-right corner of the uppermost section. She sells the Knight Rancid Eggs for 80-100. She does not sell eggs if the Knight has 80 or more in their inventory. She also gives them one for free if they are wearing the Defender's Crest Charm, stating the smell reminds her of the Dung Defender, to whom she is grateful for helping her.[4]
In Steel Soul Mode, Confessor Jiji is replaced by Steel Soul Jinn and Rancid Eggs can no longer be bought from Tuk. Instead, Tuk is found dead, her corpse Infected, and she cannot be interacted with. A single Rancid Egg can be found on her body.
