The Citadel is a late-game area in Pharloom. It is located at the very top of the kingdom.[1] Hornet must ascend to the Citadel on her quest through Pharloom.[2] The Citadel has been often described as "shining" and "holy".[1][3]
Many of the Citadel's inhabitants have fallen prey to the deadly warrior Seth who guards a secret at the base of the Citadel.[4]
Glimpses of the Citadel have been shown in the reveal trailer for Hollow Knight: Silksong and the press kit.[3]
