Mod:Pale Court/Spiked Shade Gate

Spiked Shade Gates are a mechanic in Pale Court. They bear a resemblance to the base game's Shade Gates and use similar mechanics. Similar to the Shade Gate, a Spiked Shade Gate can only be passed by using the Shade Cloak to dash through it. Unlike with a normal Shade Gate, however, the Knight takes environmental damage when touching a Spiked Shade Gate while not using the Shade Cloak. Furthermore, while normal Shade Gates are only found positioned vertically, Spiked Shade Gates may be positioned horizontally, requiring the Dashmaster charm's ability to dash vertically downwards to pass.

Location

Spiked Shade Gates are only found in the Abyssal Temple above the Void Tendrils imprint room within The Abyss.
