Mark of Purity is a Charm from the Pale CourtMod. It lowers Nail damage by 20%, but in return allows the Knight to decrease their attack delay with successful Nail hits. This increases the Knight's effective attack speed significantly.
The rate is -0.0335 seconds per strike, capping out at 0.17 seconds (5.88 attacks/sec) in 9 hits.
Failing to hit an enemy within 3.4 seconds will reset the swing speed and play a bell sound. Taking damage also results in a reset of applied bonusses.
Mark of Purity is incredibly effective when facing tougher enemies and Bosses, as there will constantly be a target to hit and maintain the attack speed buff.
Wearing Mark of Purity unlocks extra dialogue with the White Lady.

Reduces initial attack delay by 0.18 seconds (0.49 to 0.31). Successive hits now decrease attack delay at a rate of -0.0163 seconds per hit, capping out at 0.1307 seconds per hit (7.651 attacks/sec) after 11 hits.
