Quick Slash
Quick Slash is a Charm in Hollow Knight. It allows for more rapid Nail strikes.
Usefulness
Quick Slash can increase total damage output while slashing with the Nail. This Charm is more effective than Fragile Strength/
Unbreakable Strength in most situations, as it not only increases the rate at which the Nail deals damage but also how quickly it accumulates SOUL.
How to Acquire
Located in Kingdom's Edge, on a massive anvil in a hidden room in front of a massive corpse known as an "Ancient Nailsmith".[1]
Finding it requires travelling to the very east end of Kingdom's Edge past Oro's hut and locating a breakable floor next to his training dummy. After traversing down a few levels, and looping up the west end of the section, there is a small tunnel located within a wall leading to the Charm.

- ↑ Without any Charms, attack duration is 0.35 seconds. With Quick Slash, it is 0.28 seconds.
- ↑ Without any Charms, attack cooldown is 0.41 seconds. With Quick Slash, it is 0.25 seconds.
- ↑ After performing a Nail strike, the Knight cannot perform another until the attack cooldown and attack duration timers both expire. However, by turning around or Dashing, the attack duration timer can end early if the attack cooldown timer already has, this results in a maximum increased attack rate of ~39%.
