Alubas are enemies in Hollow Knight. They are gentle, passive gliders who prefer to be near acid waters.[1][2] It is said they are attracted to the resting places of beings of great power.[2]
Behaviour and Tactics
Floats back and forth passively, dealing contact damage but is otherwise harmless.
As they tend to stay up and out of reach, jumping with the Monarch Wings and attacking upwards or using the Howling Wraiths/Abyss Shriek Spell is the easiest way to take them down.

Location
One is found floating above the Lake of Unn, floating back and forth peacefully. More can be seen in the background in this area.
Another is found in the Queen's Gardens, flying just outside the structure where the White Lady is located.

Trivia
- The Aluba is one of the enemies that respawns upon leaving and re-entering the room.
- Can only be Dream Nailed when using noclip.
