Recently birthed, these young aspid instinctively swarm around intruders.

These hatchlings are born with an instinct to kill! They are still only infants though, and you can crush them between your fangs without thinking. Just don't let them overwhelm you with numbers.

Aspid Hatchlings are enemies in Hollow Knight. They are recently born Aspids who instinctively swarm around threats.[1]

Behaviour and Tactics

Spawned by Aspid Mothers, flies towards the Knight if within range. Two additional ones spawn when the Mother dies.

They are good sources of SOUL as they are easy to kill and come in big groups. Given this, in some scenarios, it is more beneficial to leave the Aspid Mother alive to farm her hatchlings.
