Aspid Hunter
Bests its prey by spitting corrosive liquid. Often hunts in packs. Cunning predators that will try to pick you off from a distance. Don't give them any space, just charge in and cut them down! You'll find they're not so cunning once they are dead. |
Aspid Hunters are enemies in Hollow Knight. They are the males of the Aspid species.[1] Aspid Hunters usually hunt in packs and spit corrosive liquid at prey from a distance.[2] A more powerful variant called Primal Aspids can be found in Kingdom's Edge.
Behaviour and Tactics
Aimlessly hovers around until approached by the Knight. It attacks from a distance by spitting blobs of corrosive liquid.
After it spits, there is a small window to attack. It is best to get in close and strike as soon as possible. They can easily be heard from a distance by the whirring sound their wings make.
