Hiveling
 Weak, but hard-working and numerous. Their hairy little bodies are filled with a thick, sweet, golden liquid. Good to keep a few on you for long hunts.  |
Hivelings are enemies in Hollow Knight. They are little bee warriors who carry out simple tasks in and around the Hive.[1][2]
Behaviour and Tactics
Flies around idly, but drifts toward the Knight at a moderate speed when in range.
Lifeblood ContentHivelings summoned by the Hive Knight fly upwards, then fly back down, targeting the Knight. They also try to attack the Knight at the beginning of the fight before the Hive Knight appears. These Hivelings cannot be damaged with the Nail, though they do take knockback and grant SOUL. They can, however, be killed with Spells.

Location
They are very commonly found in large numbers within the Hive and the bottom half of Kingdom's Edge, near the Tram station. Five of them can also be found near where the Quick Slash Charm is collected.

Trivia
- The Hiveling is one of the few enemies that respawns upon leaving and re-entering the room.
- With the Hiveblood Charm equipped, they do not attack the Knight nor deal damage on contact, however, they still retaliate if attacked.
- Before the
Lifeblood update, Hivelings were smaller and only had 1 health.
