Slobbering Husk

Slobbering Husks are enemies in Hollow Knight. They are husks that were completely consumed by Infection, overfilling with noxious corrosive liquid.[1][2]
Behaviour and Tactics
Despite physically resembling the Leaping Husk, this enemy does not jump, instead, it spits a cluster of corrosive blobs in an arc that linger temporarily on the ground.
Its attack is predictable and easy to dodge. Avoid one spit and move in quickly for a kill, or attack with a ranged Spell or a Nail Art with a large area of effect, such as Dash Slash.

Location
Since the Leaping Husks in Forgotten Crossroads mostly become Slobbering Husks after the Infection spreads, their locations are similar.

- Unlike other Infected Crossroads enemies, Slobbering Husks do not explode upon death.
- Its body still glows orange upon death like all other exploding corpses, possibly suggesting that its ability to explode was originally intended but then later removed at some point.
