Goam
 These brutes seem to be impervious to most damage, so you can sharpen your weapons on their thick hide or just slash away at them for your own amusement. They barely seem to notice.  |
Goams are enemies in Hollow Knight. They are worm-like, thickly armoured creatures who burrowed tunnels through the walls of the caverns.[1] They are suspected to be a distant relative of the Mawleks, perhaps sharing an ancient ancestor.[2]
Behaviour and Tactics
Emerges from its hole quickly and then immediately rushes back in. It cannot be damaged or killed.

Location
They are mainly found in the Forgotten Crossroads, however, some can be found in Deepnest, at the area in which the Sharp Shadow Charm is collected. The Goam's Journal entry is found in the Forgotten Crossroads, obtained by inspecting a fossilised Goam. It is found in a hidden area to the right of the Fungal Wastes entrance. Requires the Desolate Dive/Descending Dark Spell to access.

- Other enemies die instantly when touched by a Goam.
- Despite being invincible, they have 91 health in the game's data.
- Although a challenging task due to their large size and speed, it is possible to Nail-bounce on their thick hides.
