Furious Vengefly
 The infection that passes from creature to creature grants strength and courage, but it also seems to enslave the will. Would you make such a bargain?  |
Furious Vengeflies are enemies in Hollow Knight. They are enormous Vengeflies whose bodies were distorted by continued Infection.[1] The blisters around their wings appear to give them improved flight.[2]
Behaviour and Tactics
Hovers in place. Flies towards the Knight in a zig-zag, up and down pattern when they get in range, emitting a screeching sound. A few seconds after being killed, its corpse explodes. While its regular attack deals one Mask of damage, the explosion deals two.
The Knight's standard Nail attack is enough for this enemy. Simply attack continuously to keep it out of range, then make sure to avoid the corpse after it is killed.

Location
Furious Vengeflies can be commonly found in the Forgotten Crossroads, only after it becomes Infected. They replace the positions of most regular Vengeflies. They also appear in the 3rd wave of the Trial of the Fool at the Colosseum of Fools.
