Shadow Creeper
 This little creeper is weak and poses no threat, but something about it still unsettles me. The way it moves and the noises it makes are... strange somehow.  |
Shadow Creepers are enemies in Hollow Knight. They are possibly more primal relatives of the Crawlids, found only in deep, dark places.[1][2]
Behaviour and Tactics
Meanders back and forth passively, sometimes vertically crawling on walls, with no regard to the Knight. It behaves exactly like the basic Crawlid, but can climb walls and has more health.
It also does not take any knockback from the Nail or Dream Nail.

Location
Shadow Creepers are found in Ancient Basin, mainly in the central portion. They can also be found in the Abyss, serving as platforming section obstacles in the entrance.

- The Shadow Creeper is one of the few enemies that respawns upon leaving and re-entering the room.
